Gyeongnam National University LINC+ Project Group Discusses Remote Teaching Methods Due to 'COVID-19'

View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Woo-kwon] The LINC+ Project Group at Gyeongnam National University announced on the 9th that it held the '2nd Regional Community (Industry) Linked Curriculum Teaching Cafe' at the Industry-Academia Cooperation Seminar Room on the 5th floor of the Industry-Academia Cooperation Building.
The Teaching Cafe is a learning gathering of professors in charge of community-linked courses, established to research various teaching methods aimed at enhancing students' problem-solving abilities for regional community issues, and to share and study systematic knowledge and skills applied in actual classes.
The professors attending the event reviewed and discussed 'curriculum operation plans' due to the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), 'students' difficulties,' and the upcoming 'Cheongbaji (Youth Changing the Local Community) Project plans.'
Following this, Professor Park Jae-hee from the Department of Food and Nutrition gave a presentation on the actual operation cases of community nutrition under the theme of 'Community-Linked Curriculum: Community Nutrition.' Afterwards, led by Jeong Eun-hee, head of the Community Innovation Center, there was a session sharing various methods for operating community-linked courses connected with online learning, self-directed learning, team teaching, and the use of various applications in classes.

Park Eun-joo, head of the LINC+ Project Group at Gyeongnam National University, said, "We will do our best to improve the quality of remote lectures operated due to COVID-19, discuss and implement various methods for interactive communication between professors and learners, and enhance students' satisfaction with lectures."
