A Knowledge Industry Center to Be Built in the Residential Development Area Near Sinmokdong Station
[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] A knowledge industry center will be established near Sinmokdong Station in Yangcheon-gu, Seoul.
On the 9th, Seoul City announced that it held the 4th Urban and Architectural Joint Committee on the 8th and approved a revised plan to change the district unit plan decision for the area around Mokdong 900-4 within the Mokdong District Land Development Project district unit planning zone.
This site has remained vacant land since December 2015 after the abolition of urban planning facilities (gas supply facilities) and the introduction of educational research facilities. With the approval of this review, the use plan for the building now includes a knowledge industry center. The policy aims to maintain the function of the semi-industrial area and secure self-sufficient functions that can establish a regional economic foundation.
