COVID-19 New Cases 47 for Two Consecutive Days... Cumulative Total 10,331 (Update)
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] On the 7th, the number of new confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in South Korea increased by 47, bringing the total confirmed cases to 10,331.
According to the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasure Headquarters for COVID-19, as of midnight on that day, 13 patients were added in Daegu and 10 in Gyeonggi Province. There were 14 confirmed cases imported from overseas through airport quarantine. So far, the total number of imported confirmed cases is 802, of which 92.1% are Korean nationals.
In addition, 4 cases were identified in Seoul, 2 in Gangwon, and 1 each in Busan, Chungnam, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam. No confirmed cases were reported in 9 other regions. The number of new patients remained at 47 for two consecutive days following the previous day.

Among the total confirmed cases, 6,694 patients have been released from isolation after recovery, an increase of 96 from the previous day. The number of deaths increased by 6 from the previous day, totaling 192.
