NH Nonghyup Card Launches Mask Alert Chatbot Service
[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] NH Nonghyup Card announced on the 7th that it will implement a mask notifier chatbot service in AlimTalk to participate in the prevention of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
Customers can receive guidance on up to 10 mask purchase locations within a 5km radius, sorted by those with the most stock, through the mask notifier. The locations of these purchase points can also be checked on a map, and by selecting ‘Register as My Purchase Location,’ the chatbot will send notifications when masks are stocked or sold out at the registered purchase location.
Based on the entered birth year, the chatbot sends notifications at 8 a.m. on the purchase day according to the 5-day mask purchase system, and also provides a service that allows easy access to related information by linking to the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency’s COVID-19 status page.
The service is available to NH Nonghyup Card (Chaeum) individual members who have applied for the approval notification service via Kakao AlimTalk. To use the service, no separate application procedure is required; simply click the ‘Start Mask Notifier Bot’ menu button, which is always displayed at the bottom of the AlimTalk chat room.
