Kibo Builds 'Technical Evaluation Feedback System' to Support Innovation in SMEs
Inducing Innovation in SMEs through Technology Evaluation Results and Analysis Information Provision
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Korea Technology Finance Corporation (Chairman Jung Yoon-mo, hereinafter referred to as Kibo) announced that it will launch a pilot service of the 'Technology Evaluation Feedback System' from the 7th, which provides technology evaluation results and customized analysis information to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that have received technology evaluation guarantees. Kibo plans to induce technological innovation by SMEs themselves by disclosing technology evaluation results and analysis information that had previously been used only for internal guarantee screening purposes and not provided to companies.
The Technology Evaluation Feedback System is provided free of charge to SMEs that have undergone technology evaluation supported by Kibo's technology evaluation guarantee. Users can sign up through the Technology Evaluation Information Portal or Kibo's Cyber Sales Office to view evaluation results and customized analysis information at a glance. Specifically, along with the technology evaluation results, the system diagnoses strengths and weaknesses compared to excellent technology companies or similar companies and suggests directions for technological innovation. It also evaluates the excellence of all patents held by the company. Additionally, it identifies public technologies held by industry, academia, and research institutes that are necessary for the company's innovation and provides customized technology transfer recommendation information.
Kibo plans to continuously provide useful information to SMEs through the Technology Evaluation Feedback System and develop it into a representative smart service supporting technological innovation. After opening the pilot service, Kibo will collect improvement feedback from SMEs receiving technology evaluation feedback information for one month and improve the service accordingly.
