Air Seoul to Operate First Charter Flight Today for Vietnamese Community Transport
Approximately 190 Vietnamese Residents Scheduled for Transport
[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] Air Seoul announced on the 7th that it will operate the first charter flight to Da Nang, Vietnam, to transport overseas Koreans.
According to Air Seoul, the charter flight will depart Da Nang at 11 a.m. local time and arrive at Incheon International Airport at 6 p.m. The flight will use an A321-200 passenger aircraft with 195 seats, carrying about 190 Korean residents.
This charter flight was arranged at the request of the Korean Association in Central Vietnam, marking the first time a low-cost carrier (LCC) has organized a charter flight specifically for transporting Korean residents.

An Air Seoul official stated, "Due to the suspension of all flights between Korea and Vietnam caused by the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), we are operating this charter flight at the request of Korean residents stranded locally. After today's first flight, we plan to safely transport passengers in three separate flights on the 21st and 28th."
