The Export-Import Bank of Korea donated 457.5 million KRW to the Community Chest of Korea ("Fruit of Love") on the afternoon of the 6th at its Yeouido headquarters to support marginalized groups in our society, including multicultural families, North Korean defectors, and people with disabilities. View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kangwook Cho] The Export-Import Bank of Korea announced on the 7th that it has donated a total of 457.5 million KRW to the Community Chest of Korea (hereinafter referred to as 'Sarangui Yeolmae').
On the afternoon of the 6th, Bank President Bang Moon-kyu met with Kim Yeon-soon, Secretary General of Sarangui Yeolmae, at the bank's headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul, to deliver the donation.
The donation provided by the bank on this day will be used for a total of 31 projects supporting marginalized groups such as multicultural families, North Korean defectors, and people with disabilities.

After delivering the donation, President Bang said, "I understand that many people are experiencing difficulties as the support for marginalized groups has decreased recently due to COVID-19," adding, "As a policy financial institution, we will continue to do our best to ensure that socially vulnerable people do not lose hope and can overcome their hardships."
