Air Busan to Resume Ulsan-Gimpo and Ulsan-Jeju Flights from 25th After 55 Days

[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] Air Busan announced on the 7th that it will resume flights on the Ulsan Airport to Gimpo and Jeju routes starting from the 25th. This comes 55 days after domestic flights from Ulsan were suspended due to the impact of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
According to Air Busan, the Ulsan~Gimpo and Ulsan~Jeju routes will each operate two round trips daily. In response to the recent increase in passengers on the Jeju route, Air Busan has also partially increased flights on the Gimpo~Jeju and Busan~Jeju routes since the 16th of last month.
Air Busan is also holding a special fare event for passengers on the Jeju route. The applicable routes are Busan, Gimpo, and Ulsan to Jeju, with one-way total fares starting from 9,900 KRW per person. The event period is from the 8th to the 19th, and the travel period is until July 20th.

An Air Busan official stated, "We decided to resume the Ulsan routes and increase some domestic flights to facilitate the mobility of regional air passengers," adding, "We are also doing our best to prevent the spread of infection onboard through thorough cabin disinfection and maintaining distance between seats."
