Lotte Mart Certifies All Stores in Seoul Area as 'COVID-19 Clean Zones'
[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] Lotte Mart has received certification for a safe shopping space against the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
On the 7th, Lotte Mart announced that 15 stores in the Seoul area received Clean Zone certification from the Seoul Metropolitan Government. These include Gangbyeon Branch, Guro Branch, Geumcheon Branch, Gimpo Airport Branch, Samyang Branch, Seoul Station Branch, Seocho Branch, Songpa Branch, Yangpyeong Branch, World Tower Branch, Eunpyeong Branch, Jamsil Branch, Junggye Branch, Cheongnyangni Branch, and Haengdang Station Branch.
The Clean Zone certification obtained by Lotte Mart is a certification mark granted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government to places that are considered safe from virus infection by regularly conducting disinfection and sterilization, even if COVID-19 confirmed patients have not visited. In particular, it is awarded to stores that conduct continuous environmental inspections at least once a week after thorough disinfection and quarantine.
The Seoul Station Branch, Jamsil Branch, Gimpo Airport Branch, etc., which received Clean Zone certification this time, are representative stores in the Seoul area with a high average daily floating population. Although these are crowded places, it is expected that customers will feel safe visiting once they confirm the Clean Zone certification.
