There are organizations that readily donate funds to help those in need, and residents themselves are engaging in disinfection activities or holding campaigns to support volunteer disinfectors.
On the 2nd, employees of Ssangyong Motor in Seongbuk visited the district office, bringing masks they had collectively gathered to be distributed to neighbors in need.
The Ssangyong Motor employees who donated these masks regularly volunteer at welfare facilities and for vulnerable groups. Upon hearing about the difficulties vulnerable groups face in obtaining masks due to COVID-19, 13 employees collected masks and, along with hand sanitizers, came to the district office.
In Seongbuk, beyond this, everyone?from individual donors to religious organizations and companies?is united in participating in the donation movement.
In particular, through residents’ voluntary talent donations, the donation movement continues with activities such as making cloth masks.
