Kyowon Group Launches Toddler Book Series 'Ddokddok Saenggakdanchu'
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daeseop] Kyowon Group announced on the 6th that it has launched the comprehensive thinking skills series for young children, 'Ddokddok Saenggak Danchu'.
The newly introduced series is designed as a curriculum that allows children aged 3 to 7 to develop thinking skills through reading books and engaging in play activities. It is categorized into six areas: memory, comprehension, application, analysis, evaluation, and creativity. Additionally, core thinking functions such as cause and effect, inference, and discrimination are subdivided into 30 skills, each incorporated into the stories.
In particular, while reading the books, children can use items included in the 'Play Box' such as colored magnifiers, shape rulers, and threading sets to engage in play activities related to the story content.
The series also provides a 'Daily Play Guide for Young Children' for parents. It consists of various homeschooling contents linked to each book. It also includes video activities that help develop both the body and brain simultaneously. Through QR codes hidden in the books, children can perform hand and body play to develop fine motor skills in their hands and bodies.
