Hansol Partners with Bluepoint Partners to Foster Startups
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Hansol Group announced on the 6th that it will join hands with Bluepoint Partners, a technology startup accelerator, to foster promising startups.
Hansol Group plans to operate the startup open innovation program called ‘Hansol V Frontiers.’ Hansol V Frontiers is a program designed to discover innovative startups leading the fields of logistics, interior and materials, electrical and electronics, and IT solutions.
The program focuses on revitalizing the industrial ecosystem by discovering and developing startups that have ideas and the technical capability to realize them but are still in the early stages of business, while creating new future value through synergy with the large corporation Hansol Group.
The program will accept applications from startups or prospective entrepreneurs with two or more members until the 26th.
Selected startups will receive close acceleration support from Bluepoint Partners and Hansol Group experts for about six months starting next month.
A 2-day, 1-night startup camp will also be held where participating startups can gather and share their ideas. During this process, participating startups will have opportunities to collaborate on business development and infrastructure with Hansol Group affiliates such as Hansol Paper, Hansol Logistics, Hansol Home Deco, Hansol Technics, Hansol Inticube, and Hansol PNS, depending on their business fields.
Afterwards, a ‘Final Demo Day’ will be held to select the grand prize winner, who will receive up to 20 million KRW in initial operating funds.
Selected startups can attract seed equity investments from Hansol Group and Bluepoint Partners and also receive benefits as portfolio companies of Bluepoint Partners.
