This is an increase of 49,751 (4.3%) compared to the 1,158,221 registered voters in the 20th National Assembly election in 2016.
The voters this time are those who were born on or before April 16, 2002, aged 18 or older, and have the right to vote.
By age group, there are 135,852 (11.25%) aged 70 and above, 156,450 (12.95%) in their 60s, 233,949 (19.37%) in their 50s, 244,073 (20.21%) in their 40s, 190,194 (15.74%) in their 30s, 208,127 (17.23%) in their 20s, and 39,327 (3.26%) in their teens.
The number of 18-year-old voters due to the lowering of the voting age is 18,342, among whom 5,622 are high school seniors.
By gender, there are 592,078 males (49%) and 615,864 females (51%), showing that female voters outnumber males by 23,816.
By constituency, Buk-gu Eul has the highest number with 208,908 (17.29%), followed by Gwangsan Eul with 182,793 (15.13%), Buk-gu Gap with 155,882 (12.9%), Dongnam Gap with 139,730 (11.57%), Gwangsan Gap with 139,213 (11.52%), Seo-gu Gap with 131,513 (10.89%), Dongnam Eul with 128,725 (10.66%), and Seo-gu Eul with 121,208 (10.03%) having the lowest number.
The confirmed voter registry can be checked by individuals on the district office website of their residence, and those registered in the voter list can vote on the election day, the 15th, or cast early votes at early voting stations set up nationwide on the 10th and 11th.
