[Asia Economy Reporter Ryu Jeong-min] President Moon Jae-in visited 'Yeongmowon' in Hagwi-ri, Aewol-eup, Jeju on the 3rd and said through an SNS message, "After attending the 72nd Jeju 4·3 Victims Memorial Ceremony today, I paid tribute to 'Yeongmowon' located in Hagwi-ri, Aewol-eup. 'Yeongmowon' is a harmonious memorial space that commemorates independence activists from Hagwi-ri, patriotic martyrs, and 4·3 victims together."
President Moon introduced, "In 2003, three monuments?the ‘Monument to the Spirits of Those Who Died for the Country,’ the ‘Monument to Patriotic Martyrs,’ and the ‘Memorial Monument for 4·3 Victims’?were unveiled together, and touching inscriptions are engraved on the back of those monuments."
