Hwasun-gun Supports Mortgage Interest for Newlywed Couples and Multichild Families
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Young-gyun] Hwasun-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Gu Chung-gon) announced on the 3rd that it will support mortgage interest payments for newlywed couples and multi-child families residing in the area.
This project has been implemented since last year to reduce the financial burden of purchasing homes for newlywed couples and multi-child families and to encourage them to settle in the region.
This year, the county will recruit 11 new households and provide support of up to 150,000 KRW per month for a maximum of 36 months, depending on the loan amount.
All household members must have their registered address in Jeollanam-do, and applicants must purchase a house in Hwasun and have their address registered at that house to be eligible.
Additionally, newlywed couples both aged 49 or younger (married within 7 years), multi-child families with three or more minor children (at least one child under 12 years old), and couples planning to register their marriage within three months can also apply.
Jeonse or monthly rent housing is not eligible, and households owning multiple homes, those who have loans from financial institutions other than the Korea Housing Finance Corporation, or those receiving housing-related support from the government or local governments are excluded from eligibility.
The application period is from the 6th to August 28th, and applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
