Iran's COVID-19 Cases Surpass 50,000... Confirmed Cases and Deaths Decline

The Iranian Ministry of Health announced on the 2nd (local time) that the number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) increased by 2,875 from the previous day, reaching 50,468.
The daily increase in COVID-19 cases in Iran was highest on the 31st of last month at 3,186, and has been decreasing for three consecutive days since then. The daily increase rate also dropped from 8.3% on the 31st to 6.0% on the 2nd.
As of the 2nd, the number of deaths increased by 124 from the previous day, totaling 3,160 (fatality rate 6.3%).
The daily increase in deaths has been declining, with 141 on the 31st, 138 on the 1st, and continuing to decrease on this day.
