Jangheung-gun, Yeongdong-gun, Asan-si, Jeju-si, and Seogwipo-si Collaborate in 'Selling Agricultural and Specialty Products Together' Campaign with District Office Staff Participation
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Seodaemun-gu (Mayor Moon Seok-jin) has launched an initiative to help farms in sister cities and other areas struggling due to blocked sales channels caused by COVID-19.
On the 2nd, the district announced that it will carry out a "Selling Agricultural and Specialty Products Together" campaign involving district office employees in cooperation with Jangheung-gun, Yeongdong-gun, Asan-si, Jeju-si, and Seogwipo-si.
For this purpose, the district selected a total of 28 items of agricultural and specialty products produced in each region that have low storability and need to be sold quickly, including vegetables (paprika), fruits (apple, pear, Cheonhyehyang, Hallabong), fish (gulbi, okdom), and mushrooms.
District office employees can apply for the desired items to purchase and make payments by the 8th of this month, after which delivery will be made via courier from the local areas.
