Jeonbuk Bank Joins Movement to Promote Agricultural Product Sales

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] Jeonbuk Bank announced on the 2nd that it has joined the campaign to support local agricultural products for farmers struggling due to the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) at the Jeonju Comprehensive Stadium in Jeonju, Jeonbuk.
On the previous day, Jeonbuk Bank President Lim Yong-taek visited the drive-thru agricultural products market hosted by Jeonju City and purchased 500 boxes of eco-friendly agricultural product packages.
The 500 agricultural product packages, consisting of eight types of eco-friendly agricultural products such as eggs, onions, cherry tomatoes, and chwinamul (Aster scaber), will be delivered to marginalized neighbors in need of warm support due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
President Lim said, “I hope this will provide some strength to merchants and marginalized neighbors who are going through difficult times due to the prolonged COVID-19 situation,” and added, “Jeonbuk Bank will continue various support efforts to overcome local difficulties together as a hometown bank.”
