Shinan-gun Provides Temporary Living Support for Low-Income Families with 1004 Island Shinan Gift Certificates
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Ki-woon] Sinan-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Park Woo-ryang) announced on the 2nd that starting from April, it will provide temporary living support for low-income households through government supplementary budget national subsidies to help stabilize the lives of low-income groups struggling due to the spread of COVID-19 and to aid the depressed local economy.
The support targets 2,530 households of basic livelihood security recipients and legally designated near-poor classes, providing assistance based on eligibility and household size. For a four-person household, basic livelihood recipients will receive 1.4 million won, and near-poor classes will receive 1.08 million won in 1004seom Sinan gift certificates.
The gift certificates will be distributed by visiting recipients according to village schedules adjusted at the eup/myeon offices to encourage participation in social distancing measures against COVID-19 and to prevent congestion.
