[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Im Taek) announced on the 2nd that it has published the "Public Building Project Cost Estimation Manual" booklet to reflect appropriate project costs in the budget when establishing public building construction plans, becoming the first basic local government nationwide to do so.
This booklet was created as a reference material to appropriately and easily estimate project costs by providing related regulations, application methods, and examples for each detailed project cost item such as construction costs, design service fees, and design competition compensation that must be reflected when estimating public building project costs.
In particular, for construction costs, it plans to utilize the appropriate project cost per unit area by comprehensively compiling and analyzing multi-year data by building type as basic data for planning facility projects such as construction costs when ordering public buildings.
Additionally, it is expected to contribute to securing fairness and transparency in budget execution through mutual comparison of public building construction costs.
