[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyo-jin] Woori Bank announced on the 2nd that it has installed transparent partitions at all customer service counters nationwide to practice social distancing related to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) for the protection of customers and employees.
As concerns about community transmission of COVID-19 expanded, the transparent partitions that were installed at customer service counters in branches in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions were expanded to all branches nationwide at the end of last month.
Woori Bank is also strengthening COVID-19 disinfection measures at all branches to protect customers. Through specialized disinfection companies, branches located in Daegu, Gyeongbuk, Busan, areas with high concentrations of foreigners, near universities, and airports are disinfected on a weekly basis, while other branches, lobbies, counters, and 365 automated teller machine corners are disinfected regularly at least twice a month.
