Gwangju Nam-gu Conducts Cadastral Reinvestigation of 806 Parcels in Seokjeong and Sinjang Districts
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Nam-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (District Mayor Kim Byeong-nae) announced on the 2nd that it will conduct a cadastral re-survey, including a land status survey, in the Seokjeong District and Sinjang District areas this year to correct registration details in the cadastral records that do not match the actual land conditions.
The areas subject to the cadastral re-survey are 256 parcels around 214 Seokjeong-dong and 550 parcels around 113 Sinjang-dong.
The full-scale cadastral re-survey work is expected to proceed in earnest after forming a Landowners' Promotion Council within this month with the consent of the landowners in the project area, and after selecting an agent to carry out the cadastral re-survey work, including the land status survey.
Nam-gu plans to conduct the land status survey and cadastral re-survey measurements by August, and from September, based on the survey data, prepare a cadastral confirmation draft document indicating the details by lot number of the previous land area and the land area calculated through the re-survey, and notify the landowners and stakeholders.
Landowners and stakeholders may file objections to the cadastral confirmation draft document through administrative appeals or administrative litigation within 60 days after receiving the boundary decision notification.
