Gimhae City Reports Additional COVID-19 Case Among International Students Arriving from the US, Total Now 9
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] Gimhae City, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 2nd that one international student who arrived from the United States tested positive for COVID-19.
Following two international students who recently arrived from Europe, the city has expanded testing to all overseas arrivals as infections among overseas entrants continue.
The 9th confirmed case in Gimhae (female, 30), residing in Daecheong-dong, entered the country through Incheon Airport on the 29th of last month. She was tested after experiencing nasal congestion symptoms and was confirmed positive, then admitted to Masan Medical Center.
