Halla "Wins Apartment Construction Contract in Daesil District, Gyeryong, Chungnam... Worth 137.6 Billion KRW"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Yuri] Hanla announced on the 1st that it has won the contract for an apartment construction project worth approximately 137.6 billion KRW in the Daesil District (Block 1) of Gyeryong, Chungnam, commissioned by Hyeum.
This project involves constructing a total floor area of 117,504.64㎡ (35,545.16 pyeong) of multi-family housing consisting of 905 units (12 buildings, 2 basement floors to 25 above-ground floors, exclusive area 59~84㎡) and auxiliary welfare facilities in the Daesil District area of Duma-myeon, Gyeryong-si, Chungnam. Construction and sales are scheduled to begin in June, with move-in expected in March 2023.
The apartments Hanla secured this time are located within the Gyeryong Urban Development District, where residents can enjoy the convenience of both the Geumam-dong living area in Gyeryong-si and the central commercial area of the Daesil District. It is close to KTX Gyeryong Station, allowing travel to Seodaejeon Station within 10 minutes by KTX. Nearby is Gyeryong IC (Honam Expressway branch), providing easy access to Daejeon, Sejong, and Nonsan. Daesil Elementary School (planned) and Gyeryong Middle and High Schools are within walking distance for commuting. Opposite the project site, IKEA is scheduled to begin construction in the second half of this year.

Hanla stated, "We achieved approximately 700 billion KRW in new orders in the first quarter alone," adding, "Our order backlog recorded 2.5 trillion KRW in 2018 and 2.9 trillion KRW last year, and we expect a continuous increase this year as well."
