1.5% Cashback When Buying Hyundai Cars with 'K Bank Pay'
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyo-jin] K Bank's simple payment service, 'K Bank Pay' (hereinafter referred to as K Bank Pay), announced on the 1st that it will hold a Hyundai Motor purchase cashback promotion in partnership with Hyundai Motor Company.
This cashback promotion offers a 1.5% cashback benefit unconditionally when the full vehicle purchase amount, including the deposit, for all models priced under 100 million KRW at Hyundai Motor showrooms nationwide is paid using K Bank Pay. For example, if a vehicle priced at 40 million KRW is purchased with K Bank Pay, 1.5% of the purchase price, which is 600,000 KRW, will be refunded in full in cash.
The deposit and balance can be paid according to the text message or K Bank app push notification provided to the customer. Both existing K Bank customers and customers without an account can receive the same benefits by opening a new account at the time of contract and paying with K Bank Pay.
The cashback will be paid to the K Bank account linked to K Bank Pay within 5 business days after the vehicle payment. Ancillary costs such as vehicle registration agency fees, acquisition tax, and other taxes are not included in the cashback amount.

The vehicle purchase UI (user interface) is also said to have improved intuitiveness and convenience. The payment progress uses an automobile-shaped pictogram that anyone can easily understand. It is composed of three stages: deposit, balance, and cashback, allowing users to check the payment progress at a glance, similar to tracking a delivery.
