T-Broad Urgently Schedules EBS Live Special Lecture Starting Today
[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Chae-eun] T-Broad is urgently scheduling EBS live special lectures for elementary, middle, and high school students starting from the 31st due to the delay in school openings caused by the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
EBS live special lectures can be viewed on channels 250 to 259 from the 31st for digital cable TV customers, and for Direct HD (8VSB), broadcasts will be sequentially transmitted until April 1, arranged on channels 90-1 to 99-1.
First and second graders in elementary school can watch through the EBS Plus 2 channel (digital cable TV channel 183, with differences depending on the local SO for Direct HD). Third to sixth graders in elementary school can watch from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., first to third graders in middle school from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., first graders in high school from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and second to third graders in high school from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Students should select the channel number corresponding to their grade to watch, and lecture materials can be downloaded for free from the EBS website.
T-Broad took technical measures such as allocating additional frequencies and urgently investing in broadcasting equipment to schedule the EBS live special lectures. For Direct HD customers, if the EBS live special lectures do not appear, they can reset the channels using the automatic channel setting function on their TV. Once channel setting is 100% complete, the number of channels will increase, and EBS CSAT live lectures can be viewed. Detailed information regarding channel numbers and other related matters can be checked on the T-Broad website.
