"Up to 82% Cheaper International Express" eBay Korea CBT Partners with FedEx
[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] From now on, eBay Korea sellers will be able to use international express services for small cargo at up to 82% discounted rates.
eBay Korea announced on the 31st that its Cross Border Trade (CBT) program will offer international express services at discounted prices through a partnership with global logistics company FedEx.
Through this partnership, eBay Korea CBT sellers can use FedEx's international express services, which have an extensive transportation network, at discounted prices. FedEx delivers mail and cargo worldwide to 220 countries using air and ground transportation networks.
The services eligible for partnership discounts are ‘FedEx International Priority,’ a premium delivery service specialized in urgent shipments, and ‘FedEx International Economy,’ suitable for deliveries with more flexible timing. Integrated services are provided from pickup to customs clearance and final delivery, with easy shipment tracking. The target cargo weight is up to 2.5kg, and discounts range from a minimum of 60% to a maximum of 82%, depending on delivery regions and shipment volumes.
New eBay Korea sellers registering with FedEx will also receive gift certificates worth up to 90,000 KRW. A gift certificate worth 30,000 KRW is provided for the first shipment within 30 days from the FedEx customer number registration date, and additional 30,000 KRW gift certificates are given for shipping five or more times within 60 days and ten or more times within 90 days, respectively. Logistics consultation services are also offered for eBay Korea CBT sellers. Delivery regions and shipment volume criteria can be checked on the official website.
