View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gwangjin-gu (Mayor Kim Seon-gap) is recruiting members for the "Gwangjin-gu Youth Environmental Volunteer Group," where teenagers can experience various volunteer activities focused on the environment.
The "Gwangjin-gu Youth Environmental Volunteer Group" was established to raise teenagers' awareness of local environmental issues through volunteer programs such as environmental protection campaigns and neighborhood cleanup activities.
The recruitment target is teenagers aged 13 to 18 within the district, and applications can be submitted online through the 1365 Volunteer Portal website (www.1365.go.kr) by the 18th.
The volunteer activities are scheduled to begin in April with education and orientation at the Gwangjin-gu Office's comprehensive situation room.
Additionally, the district plans to conduct a total of eight programs by November, including environmental cleanup activities, making eco-friendly products, participating in the Gwangjin-gu Volunteer Expo, and environmental protection campaigns.
Last year, the Gwangjin-gu Youth Environmental Volunteer Group operated a total of eight programs, including waste separation education and campaigns, with a total of 177 teenagers participating.
