View original image[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Lim Juhyung] Two women residing in Dongjak-gu, Seoul, tested positive for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) on the 10th. The two were confirmed to be employees of the Ace Insurance call center located in Sindorim-dong, Guro-gu, where a cluster of confirmed cases occurred the previous day.
Dongjak-gu stated in an official notice posted on its blog and Facebook on the same day, "At the Ace Insurance call center in Sindorim-dong, Guro-gu, Seoul, at least 28 COVID-19 cases have been confirmed. All colleagues of the confirmed cases are being tested." It added, "A total of 9 residents living in our district are subject to testing. Three were tested the previous day, and among them, two were confirmed positive this morning."
It continued, "Testing is also being conducted on the remaining 6 individuals who have not yet been tested," and "We will provide updates as soon as the results are available."
Both women who tested positive reside in Noryangjin 1-dong. Ms. A, born in 1980, began experiencing a sore throat on the 4th, while Ms. B, born in 1972, started having a mild cough on the 7th.
