[Photo] Guro-gu Urgently Distributes 50,000 Masks to Vulnerable Groups
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Guro-gu is urgently distributing 50,000 masks, 3 per person, to vulnerable groups. The recipients are those experiencing economic difficulties or who find it hard to go out and stand in long lines to purchase masks.
The total number of recipients is 16,990. This includes elderly people living alone, disabled individuals receiving pensions, and pregnant women registered at public health centers. Distribution will be completed by the 10th.
As residents have difficulty purchasing masks, Guro-gu has identified the number of masks held for purposes such as fine dust prevention and senior center support by various district office departments and decided to prioritize supplying all masks to vulnerable groups.
When the community service center sends a notification text, the recipients can visit to receive masks. For those who have difficulty visiting, community service center staff will deliver the masks directly.
