According to NHK's compilation of announcements from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare and various local governments, as of 7 PM on this day, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Japan includes ▲696 passengers aboard the cruise ship "Diamond Princess," ▲14 returnees on charter flights, and ▲427 people infected within Japan or travelers from China.
