Discharged 11 Days After Positive Diagnosis
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] Milyang City announced on the 7th that the first confirmed case among the five confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) will be discharged.
Milyang Patient 1 (Gyeongnam Patient 41) developed fever, cough, and muscle pain on February 25 and underwent specimen collection at the Milyang City Health Center screening clinic. On the 26th, the patient was confirmed positive and transferred to Masan Medical Center.
After hospitalization and treatment, symptoms improved, and after conducting more than two tests, all results were confirmed negative. The final discharge was decided on the 7th, and the current health condition is good. This is 11 days after the confirmation of infection.
