Two Confirmed Cases Die in Daegu and Yeongcheon... Total Domestic Deaths Reach 47 (Comprehensive)

According to health authorities on the 7th, at around 11:22 a.m., an 83-year-old woman, Ms. A, died at Kyungpook National University Hospital in Daegu. Ms. A was confirmed positive on the 22nd of last month and was admitted to Daegu Medical Center on the 26th of the same month, but her condition worsened, and she was transferred to Kyungpook National University Hospital for treatment from the 1st of this month.
She was found to have asthma as an underlying condition.
A death was also reported in Yeongcheon, Gyeongbuk on the same day, marking the 45th death in the country. Gyeongbuk Province announced that a 77-year-old man residing in Yeongcheon was transported from his home to the hospital by a 119 ambulance in the morning but passed away.
The man showed symptoms such as fever and chills on the 5th, had a specimen collected at the hospital, then returned home, and was confirmed positive the day before. The man had a pre-existing condition of stroke and was known to have difficulty moving around. His spouse also tested positive.
The 46th death occurred the day before in Daegu. At around 10:36 a.m. the previous day, a 78-year-old man died at Chilgok Kyungpook National University Hospital in Daegu and was confirmed positive posthumously. Health authorities stated, "This patient was found to have no underlying conditions."

This woman, the 23rd death in the Daegu area, was isolated at home after testing positive but was urgently transferred to the emergency room of Chilgok Kyungpook National University Hospital due to severe respiratory distress. She received intensive treatment including a ventilator in a negative pressure isolation ward from the 1st of this month but ultimately passed away.
