Shinhan Bank Provides Medical Supplies Worth 200 Million KRW to Daegu Medical Association
[Asia Economy Reporter Haeyoung Kwon] Shinhan Bank visited the 'Daegu Metropolitan Medical Association' located in Buk-gu, Daegu Metropolitan City on the 6th, promising to provide medical supplies worth 200 million KRW and support special interest rate loans for medical personnel.
This provision of medical supplies and support for special interest rate loans is part of the 'Hope Together with Shinhan' campaign conducted at the Shinhan Financial Group level. It was carried out to support the medical staff of Daegu Metropolitan City and Gyeongsangbuk-do, who are fighting day and night against the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), and to share the pain experienced by the local community.
Shinhan Bank plans to promptly prepare and provide essential items for medical sites, such as masks, by listening to the opinions of the Daegu Metropolitan Medical Association. Until the end of June, medical personnel such as doctors and nurses working at medical institutions located in Daegu Metropolitan City and Gyeongsangbuk-do who apply for loans will be offered additional preferential interest rates, applying an interest rate at the low 2% level per annum.
