[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] Changwon City announced on the 6th that one additional case of COVID-19 has been confirmed.
Accordingly, the total number of confirmed cases residing in Changwon is 20, with one person having been declared recovered, leaving 19 confirmed patients currently hospitalized for treatment.
The latest confirmed case, Changwon No. 23 (Gyeongnam No. 78), is a woman in her 40s living in Namyang-dong, Seongsan-gu, who has a family consisting of her husband and two children. All family members have been tested and are currently awaiting results.

The confirmed patient was a contact of Changwon No. 1 (Gyeongnam No. 5) case and was under self-quarantine. The first test was negative, but the second test for release from quarantine came back positive. Her health condition is relatively good, and disinfection of her residence was completed on the 5th.
