Gyeongnam Office of Education, 230,000 Copies for Children of Basic Livelihood Recipients and Single-Parent Families
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] The Gyeongsangnam-do Office of Education announced on the 5th that it will supply 230,000 school stockpiled masks to vulnerable students in the province to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
The office decided to prioritize children from basic livelihood security recipients, single-parent families, and legally designated lower-income groups by sending 10 stockpiled masks per person, which schools currently hold, to each household.
The target students are estimated to be approximately 23,000, and the masks will be sent from schools to homes via courier by mid-next week.
