Introduction of electronic approval system, Jaeneung Dabang gatherings, intergenerational programs and events for community revitalization... Selected as '2019 Best Apartment Complex' by Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Ten's Hill Complex 1 apartment in Seongdong-gu (Mayor Jung Won-oh) has been selected as the Best Complex in the '2019 Excellent Apartment Complex Management' by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.
Since 2010, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport has annually selected one Best Complex and five Excellent Complexes as 'Excellent Apartment Complex Management' through a two-stage evaluation of complexes recommended from cities and provinces nationwide.
This evaluation assessed five categories: general management (transparent management fee operation, etc.), facility maintenance management, community activation (voluntary resident participation, etc.), recycling and energy saving, and best practices. The evaluation criteria were also improved by strengthening the scoring standards in the facility safety field.
Ten's Hill Complex 1 is a large apartment complex with 1,369 households that began moving in April 2015. It attracted attention by introducing an electronic approval system for transparent and efficient apartment management.
Additionally, it received praise for activating communication between neighbors and generations and contributing to community unity with various and creative ideas such as operating diverse programs through the weekly 'Talent Cafe Meeting' based on talent donation, delivering bottled water to postal and courier workers, hosting events like the 'Hyo Love Grand Festival' where young and elderly generations communicate, Halloween and Christmas festivals, and collecting ice packs to send to traditional markets.
Lee Ga-bin, head of the community activation group of Ten's Hill Complex 1, said, "When we started the apartment community activation project in 2015, we only dreamed that someday we would be selected as the Best Complex." She added, "I think the community activities, which were always decided with residents' opinions as a priority and carried out with voluntary participation of all residents, received high scores," expressing her joy.
