View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyunjung] Nonghyup Hanaro Distribution announced that, in accordance with the government's 'Mask Supply Stabilization Measures,' it will supply 190,000 masks daily to 1,900 Hanaro Marts nationwide, excluding the Seoul and Gyeonggi regions, starting from the 6th.
From this day forward, until a separate notice (the establishment of a duplicate purchase verification system) is issued, Hanaro Mart customers can purchase only one mask per person per day. However, once the 'duplicate purchase verification system' is established, customers will be able to purchase up to two masks per person per week.
Additionally, the mask purchase 5-day rotation system, which allows mask purchases only on designated days based on the last digit of the birth year, will be applied after the duplicate purchase verification system is implemented.
Those with last digits 1 and 6 can purchase on Monday, 2 and 7 on Tuesday, 3 and 8 on Wednesday, 4 and 9 on Thursday, and 5 and 0 on Friday. Purchases are allowed regardless of birth year on Saturdays and Sundays.
The selling price will be unified at a single price of 1,500 KRW per mask, unlike before when prices varied depending on mask type (filter fabric, certification grade, etc.).
Furthermore, to minimize customer inconvenience and prevent repeated purchases when buying public masks, Nonghyup Hanaro Mart and post offices plan to simultaneously distribute 'number tickets for public mask purchases' at 9:30 AM starting from the 6th.
