Suhyup Bank "Blood Donation to Alleviate COVID-19-Induced Blood Supply Shortage"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] Sh Suhyup Bank announced on the 5th that it held the 'Sarangae (Sea) Blood Donation' event at its headquarters in Songpa-gu, Seoul, to help alleviate the blood supply shortage amid the prolonged severe stage of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.
This blood donation event is part of Suhyup Bank's social contribution activities conducted since 2003. The blood donation certificates collected from participating employees are donated to the Suhyup Central Association, which then provides them to fishermen and social organizations in need of blood for surgeries and other purposes, as a life-sharing campaign.
On the day, in cooperation with the Korean Red Cross Seoul Southern Blood Center, blood donations were conducted safely with thorough measures to prevent COVID-19 concerns, including pre-screening, temperature checks, and disinfection.
