Disinfection Support for 119 Ambulance Team Transporting COVID-19 Confirmed Patients in Daegu
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] On the 5th, Gwangju Nambu Fire Station announced that its staff rolled up their sleeves to support the disinfection of the Daegu 119 ambulance and paramedics who transported COVID-19 confirmed patients as part of the Moonlight Alliance between Gwangju and Daegu.
The day before, two Daegu 119 ambulances transported seven confirmed COVID-19 patients. If hospital beds in Daegu medical institutions become insufficient, additional patients will be transferred to Bitgoeul Jeonnam National University Hospital.
The Daegu 119 paramedics who conducted the transport said, "We are grateful for the warm support extended through the Moonlight Alliance amid the shortage of beds and personnel," adding, "We hope the patients recover quickly and return to their daily lives."
After disinfecting the Daegu 119 ambulance and personnel, Gwangju Nambu Fire Station provided lunch boxes and snacks to the Daegu 119 paramedics, lending a warm and solid hand to the Moonlight Alliance.
