S-OIL Donates 500 Million Won to Support COVID-19 Relief Efforts
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] On the 5th, S-OIL donated 500 million won to the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association, asking that it be used to help those struggling due to the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
S-OIL CEO Al-Katani stated, "During this difficult time for the entire nation due to the spread of COVID-19, S-OIL wants to share the pain and overcome it together," adding, "We hope that this small token of sincerity, gathered from the hearts of all our employees, will be of some help to those facing hardships."
Additionally, CEO Al-Katani has taken steps internally to care for employees. Measures such as flexible working hours, telecommuting, distribution of masks and hand sanitizers, and family care leave have been implemented to alleviate anxiety and ensure safety.
