Gwangju City Focuses on Supporting Excellent Startup Companies... Recruiting Participating Companies
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 4th that it will recruit 20 companies to participate in the 'Intensive Support for Excellent Startup Companies' at the Gwangju Center for Creative Economy and Innovation (CCEI) by the 3rd of next month to proactively discover and closely support outstanding local companies with growth potential.
The recruitment targets are startup companies in the leap stage with excellent items in the manufacturing industry, manufacturing-related service industry, and knowledge service industry sectors, established for more than 3 years but within 7 years.
Companies participating in the Intensive Support for Excellent Startup Companies project can receive up to 50 million KRW in commercialization funds and receive focused management throughout the entire commercialization process from a dedicated manager.
Additionally, through registration as an incubated company at the Gwangju CCEI, they can participate in consulting, management diagnosis, and incubation projects.
Companies wishing to participate can check the recruitment announcement on the Gwangju CCEI website and apply via email. The Gwangju CCEI plans to comprehensively evaluate the excellence of the business item and the possibility of business success to select supported companies.

Since last year, the city has started intensive support for excellent startup companies, selecting 22 companies, filing and registering 64 intellectual property rights including patents and designs, attracting 1.7 billion KRW in investment, and achieving 26 cases of market development.
