Woori Jonghap Financial Launches ‘The Dream Regular Savings’ with Up to 8% Annual Interest
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyo-jin] Woori Comprehensive Financial announced on the 4th that it will launch the 6-month maturity "The(The) Dream Regular Savings" product with a maximum annual interest rate of 8%.
This regular savings product is exclusively for smart banking, offering a base interest rate of 2.5% per year plus preferential interest rates, providing up to 8% annual interest. The monthly deposit amount ranges from a minimum of 100,000 KRW to a maximum of 500,000 KRW, with only one account allowed per person.
Preferential interest rates include 1.0% per year for new customers, 1.5% per year when the number of subscribers exceeds 10,000, 1.0% per year based on check card subscription and usage performance, and 2.0% per year based on financial investment product purchase performance, adding up to a maximum of 5.5% per year.
A Woori Comprehensive Financial official said, "The Dream Regular Savings is a product for customers who want non-face-to-face financial transactions," adding, "It was launched for young adults planning to prepare short-term lump sums such as travel funds and emergency funds in the recent low-interest-rate era."
