5 Additional Confirmed Cases in Gumi City... Including LG Display Tenant Bank Employee
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Young-wook] Five new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Gumi-si, Gyeongbuk.
According to Gumi-si on the 4th, five people tested positive for COVID-19: A (59) living in Sagok-dong, B (18) in Otae-dong, C (29) in Bisan-dong, D (21, female) in Hyeonggok 2-dong, and E (35, female) in Sandong-myeon. With this, the total number of confirmed cases in Gumi-si has increased to 44.
Among the confirmed cases, E is a bank employee at the LG Display Gumi plant. The city believes that E was possibly infected by an employee who tested positive on the 29th of last month.

A Gumi-si official stated, "As additional confirmed cases are increasing in the local community, we will respond more strongly and disclose movement-related information as soon as it is confirmed."
