Ministry of SMEs and Startups, Additional Recruitment of Companies Participating in 'Export Voucher'
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daeseop] The Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced on the 4th that it will conduct an additional recruitment announcement for companies participating in the 2020 Export Voucher program in collaboration with the Small and Medium Business Corporation.
This additional recruitment was prepared to support the discovery of new and alternative export markets for export innovation companies, such as small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that suffered damage in exports and imports to China due to the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), and ventures and startups related to infection prevention and diagnosis.
The main support targets are SMEs whose export or import performance to China in the previous year accounted for more than 30% and whose sales decreased due to COVID-19 (100 companies), ventures or startups producing infection prevention and diagnosis-related industries and products (45 companies), and other export innovation companies such as Brand K selected companies (117 companies).
The application period is from the 5th to the 18th. Applications can be submitted online through the Export Support Infrastructure Utilization Project website. To prevent the spread of COVID-19 and provide prompt support, selection will be made through document evaluation instead of face-to-face evaluation.
If selected, export vouchers of up to 100 million KRW will be provided depending on the export scale of each company in the previous year. Various overseas marketing support services used throughout the export process, such as country-specific export strategies, design, promotion, exhibitions, and certification, are provided through accredited executing agencies. Support can be selected and received within the voucher limit provided.
