Actor Lee Minho donated 300 million KRW related to COVID-19 through the donation platform Prozmi on the 2nd. Lee Minho's agency MYM Entertainment stated, "Based on the value of coexistence, living together by experiencing and overcoming difficulties and joys together, many people voluntarily joined in gathering their hearts."
Singer Kim Beomsoo donated 100 million KRW through the Community Chest of Korea on the same day. Through his agency Young Entertainment, Kim Beomsoo said, "As I finished my 20th anniversary debut concert, I wanted to repay the overwhelming love I have received from everyone in some form. At the same time, I decided to donate with the hope that it would help those suffering from COVID-19 even a little." He added, "I hope this small heart will be meaningfully used for COVID-19 and domestic child relief."
Junho, a member of the group '2PM' and an actor currently serving in the military, also donated 30 million KRW to the international relief and development NGO World Vision on the same day. Junho said, "I wanted to help socially vulnerable children who are going through difficult times. And I send thanks and support to everyone working hard to prevent the spread of COVID-19."
Singer Park Hyoshin also donated 100 million KRW to the Community Chest of Korea on the 29th of last month. According to the Community Chest of Korea, Park Hyoshin said, "I want to lend strength amid the increasing number of devastating news due to COVID-19. I sincerely hope to help protect vulnerable groups safely from infection and assist low-income groups threatened in their livelihoods even a little. I also want to support the medical staff who are working hard on treatment."
Singer Hwang Chiyeul, from Gumi, Gyeongbuk, donated 50 million KRW to the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association on the 29th of last month. He said, "I want to lend even a small strength to those suffering from COVID-19."
