Traffic Safety Education Becomes More Convenient... Road Traffic Authority Opens 'e-Learning Center'
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-ju] The Korea Road Traffic Authority unveiled the specialized traffic safety education platform, 'Korea Road Traffic Authority e-Learning Center,' on the 2nd.
The e-Learning Center was established to enable learners to smoothly receive traffic safety education services from anywhere. Depending on the purpose of completing the education, job-related personnel such as teachers in charge of children's school bus supervision and youth traffic safety teachers can take job training, while the general public can learn desired subjects through open education.
Open education has been reorganized by mode of transportation such as pedestrians, automobiles, and bicycles to expand the previously online education course, which was only provided to children's school bus co-guardians, to the entire population.
The main services provided include ▲online traffic safety education courses (children's school bus co-guardian and traffic safety teacher training courses) ▲reservation for the children's traffic safety experience center ▲other safe driving educational materials (videos, textbooks), etc.
Meanwhile, with the opening of the e-Learning Center, the existing Cyber Traffic School operation will be terminated. However, it will be operated concurrently for a certain period to allow printing of certificates for children's school bus co-guardian education completion.
