Krafton Donates 1 Billion KRW with PUBG to Overcome COVID-19
Support of 500,000 Masks and Quarantine Relief Supplies to Daegu and Gyeongbuk Regions
[Asia Economy Reporter Jin-gyu Lee] Krafton, a game alliance, announced on the 2nd that it has designated a donation of 1 billion KRW to the Daegu Metropolitan Red Cross to help overcome the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
PubG, the creator of the battle royale genre game "PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds," also participated in this donation as a member of the alliance.
The donation will be used to support quarantine and relief supplies for COVID-19 prevention and containment in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions, including 500,000 masks. A Krafton official stated, "We hope this will be of some help to the residents and medical staff of the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions who are overcoming COVID-19, as well as local governments and volunteer organizations dedicated to responding to the situation."
