Police Investigating Exact Cause of Death
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Suwan] Ju Seung-yong, secretary to the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, was found dead, prompting a police investigation.
According to the police on the 2nd, Ju's secretary, Jeong Mo (47), was found dead inside a car near his home in Hwayang-myeon, Yeosu, his hometown.
Jeong was reported missing after not appearing at the '101st Anniversary March 1st Movement Commemoration Ceremony' held in front of the Yeosu Anti-Japanese Independence Movement Monument around 11 a.m. the previous day.
In a media interview, Representative Ju was quoted as saying, "It appears to be an extreme choice, but we need to wait for the exact investigation results."
The police are investigating the exact cause of death.
