NongHyup Bank Receives Financial Supervisory Service Commissioner Award for 'One Company One School Financial Education'
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwon Haeyoung] NH Nonghyup Bank announced on the 28th that it was selected as an excellent financial company for the '2019 One Company One School Financial Education' and received the Financial Supervisory Service Commissioner Award for four consecutive years since 2016.
The One Company One School Financial Education program is a nationwide initiative where financial company branches form sisterhood ties with nearby elementary, middle, and high schools to continuously provide various forms of financial education such as experiential education and visit education to students. Nonghyup Bank formed the most One Company One School partnerships (999 schools) and provided financial education to a total of about 50,000 students in 2019.
In particular, Nonghyup Bank has established Youth Financial Education Centers in 16 regions nationwide, leading region-centered participatory and experiential financial education. To effectively respond to educational demand, it continuously trains internal instructors and strengthens cooperation with local institutions to enhance the quality of education.
